(BETA TEST) Letter Splitter / Stamper Photoshop Action

$0.00

***currently only working for Photoshop 2025, not beta or previous versions (updating soon)

***will only work on a single line of text, if you want to do a second line, process separately

This set is designed to take a set of text characters in Adobe Photoshop and break the words/sentences into individual letters, maintaining the spacing between words. It applies a small amount of rotation to each letter, as well as drifts its a very small percentage away on the x and y axis from where it started. it then groups everything in a folder, maintaining each letter as a text layer to be edited if need be. the intensity of the effect is controlled by the slider pop up its a 1 to 10 scale - 1 being very subtle, 5 being the original effect level i created, and what i use most, and 10 being the most extreme. The variance is only a few percent points so nothing should be miles apart.

QUICK INSTRUCTIONS;
Just a heads up this is only for photoshop for now - theres a read me in there with instructions but more or less you're just unzipping, dropping the scripts in your adobe script preset folder, as well as the action then fingers crossed, the action runs smoothly. Theres a slider from 1-10 for level of the effect, 5 is what i set it up with originally so thats what i usually use. let me know if there are any issues off the bat! appreciate anyone trying this out!

CREDIT: I heavily utilized the letter splitting script David Jensen made in 2012 and uploaded for open source on GitHub - most of the heavy lifting is done from that base script which I modified and took parts of while adding the ability to rotate and shift letters, group them after, maintain relative space of original text box etc. Link here : https://github.com/ES-Collection/Photoshop-Scripts/blob/master/Split%202%20Layers.jsx
